It took a minute for him to get used to the idea of slippers. He didn't understand the concept of having "shoes" to wear only in the house and was horrified at the thought of having to wear these "slippers" to school. After a bit of coaxing and reassuring that school wound NOT have to see the shoes he relented and picked out the pair he liked best.
